JoJo's Walker Red

After my emotional morning and post I was overwhelmed with love and support by friends who read the post and reached out to show me some love.

Touched and moved I thought to myself.  Wow, self you must be pretty cool if so many people knew all along you had it in you.  Just then I got a text message from Theresa asking if I was up, "yeppers" I replied.  "Want some coffee" she asked.  "Hecks yeah, be right up".

Excited to see Theresa I hurried to get my things together.  Her and Glen just got back the night before and I was already in bed.  They went home for a day and a half to take care of a few things.

a gift of the heart, Theresa's gift to me, crystal cluster, onelovejourney2012, jojo williams, lelania
My new crystal, the picture does not do it justice
She made me some of her awesome Chai Tea while we looked at her Crystal and Stone books.  I never knew there were so many crystals and they all have different healing and protective powers.

While I was turning pages excitingly reading the meanings to her as if she didn't already know most of this, haha she gave me a surprising gift.  A cluster of natural crystal, so touched I set the book down and started as excitingly examining my new crystal pointing out all kinds of things in it like we were both seeing it for the first time, she just giggled at me.

Happy they were home, I missed my buddies.  I asked if they were heading to town, and she said she did need to go into town but was waiting on a package from Fed Ex so we waited till they found out the package was still at the ship house so we headed to town to pick it up there.

Glen and Theresa went into FedEx while I stayed outside and had a smoke.  They came out with a big box put it in the back of the truck and off to Costco we went.

We reached Costco and Theresa hands me a smoke and says hold on he is doing something, so Theresa and I had a smoke while Glen was busy in the back of the truck messing around with something.

I just love the birds, noticing them everywhere I go is a gift
I missed out on for so many years.

noticed several birds and tons of Cherry Blossoms in the parking lot and pulled out my camera and started snapping shots while Theresa disappeared to the back of the truck with Glen.

Stella I see you everywhere I go, I love you baby,
every second of every minute of every hour of every day!

Every time I see a Cherry Blossom tree I think of Stella.  It is comforting to me to stand near one I feel as if I am near her.  I hope she will always know not a day passed that I didn't think of her, love her and miss her.  I hope she always knows that.

My Guardian Angels make me cry, again, haha

A few moments later Theresa said "come here"  I turned the corner of the truck and saw a brand new shinny burgundy and black walker!  I didn't even know what to say other than "OH MY GOD, you guys shouldn't have done this, this is too much.  My insurance would pay for this.  Oh My God thank you so much, I cannot believe this, this is too much." Theresa said.. "Well we did, you were scaring us with your wheel chair.  This has brakes."  I felt my eyes begin to swell up and remembered I was standing among a dozen people and more awaited in the store so I fought back the tears and tested out my new walker.

We headed into Costco where I passed right by the handicap carts and proudly used my new walker. I was just giddy.  Sitting in it going backwards, walking with it, using the brakes. You would think I got a new red truck or something, haha.

The whole way through the store I was in awe of the gift and couldn't believe they did such a nice thing for me.  As we left town it really hit me in the car and I started to feel really guilty.  Glen and Theresa struggle like I do to survive.  I started crying and told them I was feeling guilty that they shouldn't have done this, it was just to much.  Theresa said "to bad, we wanted to and you need it." Glen said "We are the type of people if we see a need and we can fill it we do"  Theresa interuppted and said "And we do not want to be paid back for this, you owe us nothing and we mean that!"  I just cried and thanked them.

I don't even know where the blue and green lights up on the
right came from, maybe a tower or something.  I see elephants in this one
I have been seeing a lot of elephants lately, by some customs elephants
good luck, I like the thought of that.
Glen knew exactly how to distract me from my tears and stopped along the side of the road pointing out our park in the distance beyond the miles of farm fields.

He said why don't you see if you can get a night shot of the lights of our park.  I tried but the flash drownt out the lights so I turned off the flash and took a few shots.  On my camera screen it looked as if I had captured the lights.

I see the One Love Colors everywhere I look without even trying to see them, they are there, we are one, One Love!
The moon reminds me of a footprint.  I am trying to take new
steps in life toward a better future for us all and thought
this was a super cool picture for that thought.

We stopped again to view the rather large moon following along side us and I also took a couple still shots of the moon without the flash and like the first pictures on my screen it appeared normal until I got back to One Love and viewed the pictures on a larger screen.

I don't know how they came out like this but they look pretty cool.  The lights dancing all about.  I wasn't moving my arms during the shots, the truck was parked so I don't know what happened but I love them.

Dancing Lights, love it!

We got back and I hurried to cook us up some of my sister's yummy Turkey Con Chili.  It's such a great, healthy and quick affordable meal to cook I included the recipe for you all below.  Try it out you won't be disappointed.

I see the sun shinning bright outside and think I will take my new walker for a test drive around the park today and make some new friends.

Have a great day my friends,
Love you all

  1. Theresa and Glen rock!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Yeah they do, I mean man who knew that there are so many nice people still out here in the world. I am blessed to know them. I love my new walker. Never thought I would say that Kat, haha. Truth is I am disabled and I am okay with that today. This walker gives me more independence however. I plan on using it to build strength and muscles while helping me loose weight. I weighed about 350 when I started this diet, a good loss from the 419 I was when I was pregnant with Stella. I will keep updating you on my weight loss and keep adding healthy recipes I use to do so. I will also keep you up to date on how my pain levels are. Love you honey.

Oh yeah the walker even has a basket on it, we're putting that on today, woot woot. I love it so much. What a great gift.

  3. That is so nice of them, tell them thanks from me for helping my friend. That chili looks good, to bad my son wouldn't like it. Hey do you like broccli? I make this simple broccli salad that is addicting. Anyway Im glad its easier for you to get around. Im going thru it right now because I way over did myself last weekend when I went to santa cruz and my body is paying for it now.

    Love you,
