7 simple things you can do to save the planet...

Creating a New World is all of our responsibility, no one is going to do it for us.

1. Reuse
Sharing is Caring!  Have clothing exchange parties with your friends rather than shopping for new clothes, organize hand me down swaps within your community to share clothing for your children.  Shop at thrift stores, In any area that you can reuse rather than buy new you are taking a big role in helping save the planet.

2. One Store Method
As much as possible, choose to only support business that are not chains.  If a store has more than one or two locations do not shop there, support small, family owned business to take back our power as people and help end corporate take over of our planet  Doing so will have a huge impact on the future of this planet, and bring back locally owned and operated business, creating more sustainable community living.  Also connects you with those you support, building local relationships are always a plus.

3. Support Local Organic Farmers
Teach our next generation sustainability
Choose to only support your local organic farmers, doing so makes your dollar count on several levels, creates local sustainability and protects your family from dangerous pesticides.  If you have the area to grow, grow your own food, include your family in the process and teach your children the value of growing and harvesting their own foods.

4. Use Organic/Toxic Free Products
Take a role in protecting not only yourself and your family, but our waterways, our oceans, our planet by not contributing to the toxic poisoning of our planet with chemical based products that make huge corporations huge profits.

5. Become a Natural Remedy Guru
Antibiotics are killing us and our planet, learn how to prevent, treat and cure with natural ways, the earth provides all we need to live healthy lives.  Did you know that Turmeric helps with pain relief?  Ginger is a natural anti-inflammatory? There are essential oils for about every condition?  Start educating yourself, knowledge is power.

6. Turn Off The TV
Become part of the Awakening taking place worldwide.  TV is called programmed entertainment for a reason, it promotes drama, consumerism, fear based thinking and living.  Turn off the TV for one whole month and spend time with your family getting outdoors, reading, talking and see what a difference it makes in your relationships, your overall outlook on life.  Trust me you won't want to go back to wasting countless hours in front of that brain sucking machine again.

Growing your own food creates a connection, gives you
a new appreciation for life.
7. Random Acts of Kindness
Practice random acts of kindness daily.  Opportunities are everywhere to be kind to another, even something as simple as allowing someone to go in front of you in line at the market, being a courteous driver, giving to someone who has less, working at a local homeless shelter, sharing smiles.  There is always a way to improve someone else's day, and when you give you receive in return creating a world or reciprocity.

I just finished a book that is a must read for anyone who wants to understand how we got to the state we are in as a planet and how we as individuals can make small changes that render huge results.  "The Last Hours of Ancient Sunlight" by Thom Hartman.

Another mind provoking book  that is full of "I AM" empowerment is "The Complete Conversations with God" by Neale Donald Walsh.

Together we can change the world and each of us makes such a big difference.  When we begin by changing our own world, the world around us changes.  I love you all from a place of joy for owning my own power in affecting change.

One Love,
